Guest sentiment
A snapshot of what local diners frequently mention about this location.
"What a hidden gem! Came bc of high reviews and was happy to have expectations met! Lady was kind and pizza was great! One of the few that I could find that has lunch on Friday (most other wood fire pizza places do dinner only!)"
"We had such a beautiful experience at The Flavour Gallery for Valentine’s Day. The extra touches like the chocolate on the table and rose petals made the night feel really special and romantic. The food was absolutely delicious and everything came out quickly. The service was also fast and attentive without feeling rushed. Highly recommend for a special occasion"
"A very unassuming Italian restaurant. There's plenty of street parking available. I would recommend booking if you were planning on dining on a Friday night as the restaurant was full by 7. The two ladies at the front were really lovely. I felt they were attentive even though they were busy with the other patrons and takeaway orders. My partner and I ordered the spicy prawn pizza and the linguine carbonara. The pasta was super creamy with lots of bacon and I felt the portion size was good. My partner had the pizza and he said the veggies on the pizza tasted fresh and the wood fire crust was thin, which he prefers. I would definitely come again in the future."
"The food was really good, honestly the pizza blew my mind, definitely worth trying is the spicy prawn pizza, the only critic would be that the salad was standard compared to the rest of the meal, it was at a good standard however seasonal cheery tomatoes wouldve been a game changer. The cannoli is crazy good. The place has a very friendly vibe- the servers were amazing."
"Came here wanting to validate the high score reviews. We had the fried calamari salad and it was really good, the mango, tomato, red onion and rocket all balanced each other well, it's a must try. We had the linguine carbonara, this was really nice and creamy however, it could have more egg, and perhaps they used cream, so it didn't taste as authentic. The wood fired margherita was really nice, the dough was pretty soft, however it could do with a higher heat, and take away the cherry tomatoes. The standout was the tiramisu, this was surprisingly delicious, and it's a must have. Quite difficult to find an authentic, well prepared tiramisu. Definitely coming back to explore more of their menu. This place is a gem, especially if they keep improving."
"The seafood marinara was fresh and delicious, and the pizza was cooked perfectly with great flavour. Really enjoyed both dishes. Highly recommend this place."
"The staff were very friendly and gave us a good first impression when dining here. The restaurant is smaller than I expected so it got a bit loud but they decorated and made good use of the small space. Then when we got our food, i wasnt disappointed. I got the BBQ pulled pork pizza and it was so good! Only thing I would change is less BBQ sauce as it took over from the other flavors as it is a strong taste. I will definitely come back and try some other pizzas."
"A local gem glowing in oven-light, where wood-fired flames dance like storytellers, and every pizza arrives like a small celebration— crisp, blistered crusts kissed by fire, topped with care and the kind of love you can taste. The Caesar salad walks in with quiet confidence— fresh, bright, perfectly dressed, a simple classic done exactly right. Then the desserts take their bow. Tiramisu, soft as a cloud after rain, coffee and cream melting into sweet comfort. Sticky date pudding, rich and warm, like a hug you didn’t know you needed. And the marinara—oh, the marinara— pure, beautiful, honest. Tomatoes singing of sunlit afternoons, garlic whispering in the background, a sauce that feels like a love letter to tradition."
